Mike Westendorf and his group of talented
musicians will once again offer another Worship Concert
for the Lenten/Easter Season featuring the music of Handel's
Messiah, specifically a number of the solos of the famous
oratorio. The solos, which are staight from scripture, are
wrapped around the themes of "Christ's Humiliation",
"Easter Triumph" and "God is For Us"
The three portions of this concert all point to the passage
in Revelation that states that Christ is Worthy to unseal
the scroll and fulfill the plans of God for all mankind.
This Worship Concert is offered as a special worship service
for regular Sunday or Wednesday services and also as a stand
alone concert. Said Pastor Kenneth Fisher of
Risen Savior Lutheran:
"Our members received
with joy this unique blend of selections from Handel's Messiah
with Scripture lessons. They did a masterful job of joining
their gifts of vocal, instrumental and visual arts into
a unique worship experience for our congregational members."

I just wanted
to Thank You for your efforts in giving "He is Worthy"
to other Christians. My thoughts during the service went along
the lines of "This is truly Excellence in Worship",
to what great musicianship, the best of everything, awesome
and so forth. Awhile after the concert it came to me to put
it this way - Thank you for taking my soul to the Top of the
Mountain. I came away truly refreshed and thankful that I
had been there. It was simply what I needed at that point
in time. May you continue in this ministry in the manner which
God shows you. He obviously is at work in your lives. Keep
Him at the center of all you do. May He continue to Bless
all of you in your efforts as you serve His people!
