Immanuel Lutheran - Block Party Concert - Manitowoc, WI - This was an awesome concert and a real blessing after a long and at times, trying day. The band and I had played Lifest in the morning and then had a chance to play the mainstage at Lifest (see the pics for more of the story). We had severe weather marching into the grounds and we just barely got a chance to share part of the song Prelude to Praise before the winds got to us, then about 2 inches of rain that turned the fair grounds into mud. We were supposed to wait to hear a winner of our contest, but finally had to get going because we were committed to this concert. The folks at Immanel patiently waited for us to get there and we started the concert about an hour later than originally desired. For those who were able to stay, we had one of the best and most fun concerts of the entire summer. It was a joy to bring a bit of Lifest to Manitowoc and after the rains, we had a lot of desire to "bring it" and did we all. An answer to a prayer of a long day!
